Some might think that a guy who can boast perfect attendance in kindergarten might have found himself going the academic route for the rest of his life. Not Kyle -- he got the bug for computers and programming early on. Back in 1996, he started a website that was unique in the early stages of the MP3 revolution and was actually mentioned in Forbes magazine, but keeping with the larger companies that got into what he was doing, led him down a different path.
He soon found his niche as a computer tech, and over the course of the next several years, found himself providing technical help to multitudes of different people with roles as a Senior Tech at D.I.T. computers, an In Home Tech for Geek Squad and eventually as Geek Squad Supervisor. Luckily, P&L Technology got wind of this great techie around town and convinced him to lend his tech savvy to helping its customers.
What movie character do you most identify with?
The Big Lebowski. I think it’s because of the goatee that no one likes.
What’s your favorite thing to do?
It depends on the season. If it’s fall, College football (go Huskers!). If it’s winter, College Basketball (go Creighton!). If it’s spring, then it’s time to golf. Summertime is definitely time to ride my motorcycle.
What’s something about you not many people know?
I would love to just be able to travel. I enjoy getting on the bike or in the car and just going with no destination in mind. My ideal vacation would be heading west with no plans at all.
Why do you stay at P&L Technology?
The opportunities. I think of it as being on the ground floor of a high-rise building and the elevator can only take me up.
