Phil Lieber

You may know him as Phil or maybe by his nickname “Liebs,” but we know him as the founder of P&L Capital and P&L Technology. From a young age, Phil always knew he would someday own his own business. And his drive was clearly apparent when at the age of six, he secured a job at a local kennel washing dog dishes. Unfortunately for the kennel, Phil had bigger and better things in mind.

In 1981, Phil got his start in the computer industry as a sales representative for Benchmark Computers. By the age of 22, he started a company called Automated Solutions, which later merged with another company allowing him to start yet another company called LeaseTeam. In 1996, he started P&L Capital and in 2004, based on the needs he was seeing from his customers, he started P&L Technology.

You’ve probably seen Phil’s name around the Omaha metro area, as he takes pride in being part of the Omaha business community. He’s a founding member of the Omaha Chapter of the Young Entrepreneur Organization, the president of the Omaha Executive Group, and has been named to the Omaha 25 list, Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s small business of the month, and listed on the Inc. 5000.
